VISCOSITY - TO HAVE & TO HOLD

Sandrata (viscosity) is the cause behind the cohesion of water molecules and the smoothness of water itself. It was thus seen as an operative cause of conjunction.

Modern physics rules that viscosity can withstand finite velocities, holding the fluid together. The 'perfect liquid' would be one lacking in viscosity - but no such natural liquid is known.
